Michael Byron — Founder of B Smart Technology LLC & Creator of Obsidian Studio.Design

My name is Michael Byron, founder of B Smart Technology LLC, the parent company behind Obsidian Studio.Design.

My journey into technology did not begin inside a software office. It started through real business experience, mobile sales, roadside selling, customer service, and years of learning how people buy, how businesses struggle, and how technology can create better opportunities.

For years, I worked in mobile and roadside sales, selling electronics, phone accessories, chargers, USB devices, cables, and everyday technology products throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

Those years were not easy. I faced hard seasons, setbacks, restarts, financial pressure, and the real struggle of trying to build something from the ground up. But those experiences taught me discipline, persistence, customer communication, and the importance of never giving up on the vision.

After years of working directly with customers and business owners, I began to see a bigger problem. Many businesses did not only need products. They needed better systems. They needed better ways to capture customers, manage bookings, receive inquiries, organize information, follow up, and guide people toward action.

That realization helped B Smart Technology grow from a product-based technology business into a larger technology and software company focused on business systems, automation, booking platforms, digital infrastructure, and customer action tools.

Obsidian Studio.Design was created as one of the brands under B Smart Technology LLC. It exists to help businesses move beyond basic websites into structured digital systems built for trust, clarity, bookings, customer intake, lead capture, checkout flow, automation, and stronger business conversion.

Every system we build is created with structure first. The design matters, but the customer journey matters more. The goal is to help a business look professional, explain clearly, capture the right information, and guide customers toward the next step.
